Team Jumbo-Visma signs three-time national champion N'tab

Dai Dai N'tab has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with Team Jumbo-Visma. The three-time national champion in the men's 500 meter will be part of the team until at least the Winter Olympics of Beijing 2022.

N'tab is three-time and reigning Dutch champion in the men's 500 meter. The 25-year-old speed skater took a silver medal at the ISU European Single Distances Championships last season. He was also part of the team that seized gold in the men's Team Sprint at the ISU World Single Distances Championships in Salt Lake City.

"The upcoming two seasons are going to be very important for my career, so I want to make sure I get the best out of it", N'tab said. "Plus, I am looking forward to work together with coach Jac (Orie) and the speed skaters of Team Jumbo-Visma. I think this move is going to help me to become a world-class sprinter."

Coach Orie is pleased with the signing of N’tab. "I am really excited that we have managed to sign Dai Dai to our team. With him joining, our team gains rejuvenation and a quality force. I am looking forward to the next two years working towards the Winter Olympics of Beijing."

"The last couple of years, Dai Dai has already achieved some great things. However, I am confident that he can still improve a lot. He is already really strong in the men's 500-meter races, but I think he should be able to do really well at 1,000 meters also. In my opinion, it's a great challenge to get the best out of him in the next couple of seasons."
