Jumbo Foodcoach

Since the end of 2018, the cyclists of Team Jumbo-Visma have been using the Jumbo Foodcoach app. This is a tried and tested tool that helps athletes in a healthy, appropriate meal choice. After all, healthy and balanced nutrition is of great importance for the performance of top athletes. The performance staff of Team Jumbo-Visma guides the athletes by introducing a personal nutrition plan that is adjusted to the race and race schedule of the cyclist. Based on this, the Foodcoach app proposes suitable meals, the ingredients of which can be added to the shopping list at the touch of a button in the right portion. An automatic link with Jumbo.com ensures that these messages are delivered quickly to the athletes. The Jumbo Foodcoach app has been developed in close collaboration with the performance staff of Team Jumbo-Visma and exercise physiologist and nutrition scientist Asker Jeukendrup.

Vifit

Since January 2018, FrieslandCampina (with its brand Vifit) became the nutritional partner of Team Jumbo-Visma. We share our beliefs that nutrition plays an essential role in the performance of athletes. For top athletes, post a workout it is recommended to consume 20gr protein to support muscle function and get ready for the next challenge. With 20gr protein in every portion, Vifit Sport Recovery High Protein range has been specially designed to meet that requirement and is today endorsed by the team.

Besides Jumbo and Vifit, we also receive support from other parties that enable us to perform at our top. Grand'Italia, RedBull, Sourcy and Unilever help us with daily products to make our riders even better. Thanks to these parties, we provide recovery meals for our riders. These meals are freshly prepared by our soigneurs.
