Chris Harper has shown his fighting spirit in the final stage of the Tour of Burgos. The Australian of Team Jumbo-Visma attacked on the final climb, but his attempt failed three kilometres from the finish.

"Unfortunately, Chris had to change bikes at an unfortunate moment and did not make it to the breakaway. However, Robert and Edoardo did, which was a good situation for us. But that group didn't manage to stay away either, unfortunately."
"On the final climb, Chris wanted to go for it"
