Jaap van Hulten, Head of Community at Team Jumbo-Visma, is looking forward to further cooperation with the cycling association of the Flevoland province. “FRTC Almere has an enthusiastic team of people with great ambitions. They are located in an area with few facilities and opportunities for the time being. However, the association is already working well with other regional cycling associations. We see a lot of potential to create something beautiful together with them.”

The chairman of FRTC Almere, Paul Groenenberg, is also very enthusiastic. “Before our founding, there was no cycling association in Almere that raced, so we immediately started working hard. Fortunately, Team Jumbo-Visma was able to help us and we got the white jersey. Getting the polka dot jersey confirms that we are on the right track. Through this collaboration, we want to become even more professional. To do that, we get a lot of tips and we can discuss everything, which is very instructive for us.”
