ARC Ulysses promoted to polka dot jersey within Team Jumbo-Visma Koers

ARC Ulysses is the second partner association at polka dot jersey level of Team Jumbo-Visma. The Amsterdam cycling club has developed in various areas in recent months, so that the club can now call itself the polka dot jersey association of the Dutch cycling team Team Jumbo-Visma.

The collaboration is part of the Team Jumbo-Visma Koers, through which ARC Ulysses and Team Jumbo-Visma, among other things, share knowledge and expertise with the aim of making each other stronger.

Jaap van Hulten, Head of Community at Team Jumbo-Visma Academy, is delighted with the collaboration. “ARC Ulysses is one of the oldest cycling associations in the Netherlands. This year they celebrate their centenary. They have an ambitious board and a good vision of how they want to run the club. Within the association, various goals have been formulated that the club is working on. There are good plans for this. This collaboration fits very well with our Academy, because ARC Ulysses shows the will to work together with us and other cycling associations. That is something we as an Academy very much welcome.”

The chairman of ARC Ulysess, Huub Roelvink, indicates that the collaboration with Team Jumbo-Visma is a nice follow-up step on what the club has initiated in recent months. “There was already a positive energy within the club, but thanks to this news, that energy has been reinforced again. Current affairs within the club gained momentum. It is nice to see that the large group of volunteers within our club receive an extra stimulus for the work they do. Hopefully our members will experience the benefits of this partnership and it will make us even stronger as an association.”
