Looking back on successful Tirreno-Adriatico and Paris-Nice
It was a busy week for Team Jumbo-Visma. The team raced in France and Italy. In Tirreno-Adriatico, Primoz Roglic had a hat-trick of stage wins, as he also won the general classification. In Paris-Nice, Team Jumbo-Visma won two stages and Jonas Vingegaard ended up on the final podium.
Tirreno-Adriatico
Tirreno-Adriatico was a success story for Primoz Roglic. The 33-year-old Slovenian started a win streak in the second half of the seven-day-long stage race. He won the fourth, fifth and sixth stage in convincing fashion. After that, winning the general classification was not jeopardised. It is the second overall win in Tirreno-Adriatico for Roglic, after he won the race already back in 2019.

Paris-Nice
Between Paris and Nice, the race to the sun was held. After finishing fourth and second in the first two races, Olav Kooij hit the mark on stage five with a victory after a bunch sprint. Two days earlier, Team Jumbo-Visma already managed to win the team time trial.
Meanwhile, Tour de France-winner Jonas Vingegaard was in full competition for the general classification. The Danish rider finished third after Pogacar and Gaudu.
