The upcoming period, we share our riders’ favourite recipes. Today, it's banana day, so we've banana protein pancakes on the menu!
1 small banana (100 gram)
50 grams gluten free oats (for example quinoa flakes, buckwheat, oats or rice flakes)
100 gram skim quark
pinch of cinnamon
1 scoop of whey protein powder (±25 grams)
1 tbs rice/wok/olive oil for baking
Mix all ingredients except the oil together in your kitchen machine or blender. Using a hand mixer will work as well. Heat the frying pan on medium heat. Add half of the oil and bake three small pancakes, repeat.
Tip: top your pancake with 150g of skim quark or (vanilla) skyr for extra protein.
